BSF is not a credentialing organization and does not guarantee the clinical competency of those listed in its directory. All credentialing and clinical specialty information is self-reported and inclusion in our database or BSF membership does not imply competence or guarantee the quality of a practitioner’s work. It does indicate that the clinician has reported that he or she has met a minimum standard for training and education in the use of biofeedback as regulated by their individual profession. BSF makes a concerted effort to ensure that member information in our database is accurate and current. It is ultimately the clinician’s responsibility to provide corrections and updates to their contact information.
Most clinicians are happy to answer questions about their training, credentialing, and areas of clinical specialty in order to determine whether there is a potential “fit” between them and a prospective client/patient.
